Class 78 (1) A gravity pipe 10 is formed with baffles 15 arranged so that the material in falling follows a spiral path. Each baffle may be flat or shaped as in Fig. 11, and may be formed with holes corresponding to the holes in the pipe flanges so that the connecting bolts permit the baffle to be positioned as desired.
