Abstract
A pulp containing mica particles of a size less than 1 micron for use as an electrolyte in the electrophonetic deposition of mica (see Group XXXVI) is made by calcining mica, e.g., muscovite, at 780 DEG C. for 1 hour and then introducing the calcined mica either hot or cold, into a container filled with distilled water having a pH less than 6. The mica is comminuted in the container and allowed to stand, the top portion of the suspension being decanted several times to obtain the pulp. Specification 655,763 [Group XXXVI] is referred to.
