Abstract

Cellulose acetate (including triacetate) fibres which have been wet-spun by the process of the parent Specification are dyed in the swollen, gel state with direct, acid, basic, vat, acetate or sulphur dyestuffs. The process is preferably continuous. Dyeings with certain acid dyestuffs are preferably dried prior to rinsing. Dyeings with direct or acid dyestuffs may be topped with basic dyestuffs.
