792,613. Filter scrapers. RAUMA-REPOLA OY. July 16, 1956, No. 21914/56. Class 46. A rotating scraper blade 1 inclined at an angle to a strainer surface has its leading edge parallel to the surface and, as viewed perpendicular to the surface, this leading edge is formed of edge portions 7a, 7b, 7c, stepped backwards relatively to each other outwards from the axis of rotation 5. Each portion is rearwardly inclined at an acute angle to a radius r passing through the axis of rotation and the inner end, such as 13a, of the portion. Recesses 11 may be provided so that the zone of the strainer surface covered by one edge portion overlaps the zone covered by an adjacent edge portion. As the blade rotates solid matter is scraped from the strainer surface and passes up the blade surface which may be provided with guides 12.
