Abstract

Class 52(5) A display device comprises a display figure, a waist element and a U-shape member having legs of unequal length to which the figure and the element are secured to hold them in spaced relation, the leg carrying the figure passing through the waist element. As shown, a blouse 10 is arranged on a display figure 1, of synthetic plastic, secured at 2 to one leg 3 of a U-shape member 4, the other leg 5 being secured to a bendable stay-put member 8 securable to a stand. The leg 5 is also secured to a waist element 6 formed as a flattened annulus, apertured at the front and enclosing the waist of the blouse and the leg 3. For the display of longer garments the bend of the member 4 is telescopically secured to the legs and in a modification, Fig. 3, the display figure is in three parts formed as a shoulder support 13 and two bust cups 16, the shoulder support being mounted on a telescopic and removable extension 12 of the leg 11 supporting the waist element. 6 and the bust cups being mounted on the leg 15 passing through the waist element. In a further modification the member 4 is inverted the bent being then above the waist element.
