Abstract

791,984. Security cases. GRIFFITHS, F., GRIFFITHS, H. G., and TURNER, H. P. Jan. 5, 1955, No. 318/55. Class 133. A security case 1 of leather or like material has a lining of metal or other suitable material covering the front 2, rear 3, base 4 and end walls, formed from a single blank folded to form the base and walls, each end wall consisting of two overlapping parts 5, 6, capable of relative movement to permit the case to expand according to the size of its contents. The flap 7 may have a strap 10 having a metal reinforcement, the strap being rivetted at 8 to the flap and being adapted at its outer end 11 to engage with the lock 12. The handle 9, is constructed with metal reinforcements as in Specification 791,982. The lining may be of metal mesh. Specification 791,983 [Group XXV] also is referred to.
