788,613. Zig-zag corrugated paper. S.A.F.F.A. SOC. PER AZIONI FABBRICHE FIAMMIFERI ED AFFINI. June 3, 1955 [July 12, 1954], No. 16054/55. Class 96. Zig-zag corrugated paper which may be extended or contracted longitudinally (in the directions indicated by arrows) is grooved, as by cutting partly through the paper or by pressing dents therein, along the lines of the apices of the zig-zags on both sides of the paper, thus giving it transverse flexibility (as well as longitudinal flexibility), so that it is resistant to crushing but is suitable for wrapping and protecting curved or irregularly-shaped articles.
