Abstract
786,991. Artificial flowers. DECAMP. A. E. Oct. 21, 1955 [Oct. 25, 1954], No. 30212/55. Class 63 An artificial flower, which may be moulded from synthetic plastic, comprises a number of petal-sets 1, 2 Figs. 3, 6 each carried by a mounting element 3, 6, the mounting element 3 of the first petal-set being formed as a spigot and the mounting element 6 of the subsequent set or sets being formed as a collar or with an aperture so that the sets can be threaded one on another as shown in Fig. 1, a ring member 9 being provided to hold the flower in the assembled position. The petal sets are moulded in the positions shown in Figs. 3, 6 and the petals are connected to the mounting elements by stems 4, 7 so shaped that when folded upwardly to the assembled positions shown in Fig. 1 the edges of each set of stems are in abutting relationship as shown in Fig. 2. The ring 9 may be elastic.
