784,917. Stoppers. BRUNE,H. Oct. 29, 1955, No. 30985/55. Class 125(3). A hollow plug stopper of resilient material such as polyethylene has a cylindrical guide portion 1 lying beneath a cover plate 2 and one or more sealing rings 4 on a part 3 to which part 1 tapers. The part 1 may have grooves .7, Fig. 3, to allow escape of displaced liquid as the stopper is inserted. In further modifications the stopper has an open bottom or a domed hollow head 11 welded to the cover plate, Fig. 6.
