Abstract

784,206. Clamps. ROBOTHAM, M. H. N. March 16, 1956, No. 8299/56. Class 44 [Also in Group VII] A tube 3, slidable and rotatable in a socket 4, is secured in adjusted position by means of a clamping pin 5 carried by the socket. The pin has a knurled operating head 6 and a recess 7 at a part applied to the tube. Turning of the pin serves to release the tube for adjustment, whereafter turning of the pin in the reverse direction tightens the latter against the tube.
