Class 20(4) A ceiling lining comprises supporting rails 3 of T-sectiion and slabs 4 having shoulders 11 and 10 which rest on the flanges of the supporting rails, the slabs 4 being rebated on one edge and recessed on the opposing edge, the recessed edge being provided with a projection 7a which conceals the supporting rail, and the upper portions of each edge being chamfered at 6. The supporting rails are suspended by hangers 2 which are interconnected by rods 5.
