Class 85 In the completion of a dualproduction-zone parallel-tubing-string well one bore 72 of a dual bore suspender 70 is screwed on to the upper end 51 of one string, and the upper end 52 of the other string is run through the other bore 73 and suspended from within the bore 73. The strings pass through a wrap around seal 18 seating in a bowl 17 at the top of the tubing head 10. The seal comprises metal parts 31, 32 bonded to a rubber part 21, the whole of the seal being diametrically split through the passages for the strings except for a portion of the rubber between a passage and the circumference. The suspension 70 is sealed to the tubing head and a dual valve 90 by steel gaskets 71, 91. A dual T piece 100 is sealed to the top of the dual valve, and a dual control valve 103 is sealed to the top of the T piece. During completion the strings are run through blow-out preventers mounted on top of the tubing head and are suspended from a temporary hanger placed in the bowl. The preventers are removed, the string end 51 is lifted, and the suspender 70 is screwed on the end 51. The string end 52 is lifted, run through the bore 73 of the suspender, and suspended from the bore 73 by a coupling 82. The seal 18 is substituted for the hanger and the suspender is lowered on to the tubing head. In a modification (Fig. 6, not shown), the suspender is replaced by a similarly bored hanger mounted in the bowl of the tubing head, and the seal is dispensed with. In the completion of this structrure one string is run through preventers and one bore of the hanger is screwed on to its end, the hanger is lowered into the bowl, and the other string is run through the preventers and the other bore then lowered so that the string is suspended when a coupling screwed on its end engages the bore.
