Abstract
781,938. Lipstick holders. JARRETT, RAINSFORD & LAUGHTON, Ltd. April 18, 1956 [April 29, 1955], No. 12398/55. Class 18. A holder for lipsticks &c. comprises an an nular carrier 15 for the stick and its cap 18, the holder being open at botl ends so that a stick may be inserted at one enc and removed, when ex hausted, at the other in a continuous move ment. The carrier 15 has a struck-out tongue 16 engaging the usua helicoidal and axial slots in members 1, 2, the member 2 being securec to a base 3 by rings 9 10. A cover 4 having a pocket clip 6 may be provided. When the carrier is at its lowest position, a stick and its cap 18 may be pressec into it when it is in its uppermost position, the stick and cap may be pushed out by passing a pencil &c. through the holder base. The base aperture may be covered by a cap (not shown).
