Abstract

726,921. Lipstick refill containers. UNILEVER, Ltd. April 9, 1953 [April 25, 1952], No. 10489/52. Class 18. A container for a lipstick refill comprises a body portion locating the refill and a mouth portion wide enough to admit the receiving end of a lipstick holder to enable the refill 6 to be transferred to the holder 7 without handling. The body includes spacers 12 giving a restricted space locating the refill and the mouth has a flange 3 carrying a sliding cover 4. The cover may include a part 5 for printed information etc. An adhesive tape cover having an extension such as 5 may be fitted to the mouth flange. The Provisional Specification describes an embodiment in which the container is of reduced diameter above the mouth to locate the refill.
