779,119. Coupling drums; portable containers. IMPARATO, J. G. Feb. 21, 1956, No. 5388/56. Classes 66 and 94(1). Means for joining a number of drums to form a group comprises rings 16, 17 fitting round the rolling beads 14, 15, the rings having flanges which are engaged by clamping plates 23. The plates are held in position by rods 30 and have keyhole slots to facilitate positioning of the rods with securing nuts 29 located on them. The rings may be permanently secured to the drums.
