A garment cuff 1, Fig. 2, comprises a face layer 5, Fig. 4, and a superposed lining layer 6, the marginal portions of the layer 5 being turned inwardly, and the assembled layers folded along a line C-C with the lining on the inside to form two arms 8, 9. The superposed arms are joined at their side edges by stitching 11 and by one or two buttonholes 14 ; the turned-in edge of the longer arm 9 may be stitched at 12, as in Fig. 9. The end of the sleeve 2 is secured between the arms 8, 9 by a line of stitching 13. The lining layer need not be co-extensive with the face layer, but may terminate slightly beyond the. fold-line F-F, as in Fig. 15, The cuff is preferably reinforced along the fold-line, e.g. by securing a tape 15 to the lining layer by means of stitching 16 or bonding, or the reinforcement may be effected by forming the lining layer in two portions which overlap over the fold-line, or by weaving a thicker portion along the fold-line of the lining fabric.
