Abstract

772,855. Fastenings. STAEHLE, G. April 20, 1955 [April 20, 1954], No. 11369/55. Class 44. [Also in Group XXIII] Relates to a fastening for detachably securing a brush to a driving disc in a floor-polishing machine (see Group XXIII).. As shown, each brush disc 8 has a pair of inwardly or radially directed flat projections 13 to detachably engage with a driving spring-disc 11 secured to the end face of a cylindrical member 7 on a driving disc 6. The disc 11 has tongues 14 projecting somewhat from the members 7 and behind which engage the projections 13 on the brush disc 8 by turning the disc 8 after the projections have been pressed through notches 12 in the disc 11. The ends 15 of the tongues 14 bear upwardly against the faces of the entered projections 13.
