772,723. Refrigerator vehicles. TAPP, PJ. R., and TAPP, R. P. J. Dec. 17, 1954, [Sept. 17, 1953], No. 22644/53. Class 29 The storage space of a heatinsulated vehicle body having rear access doors 33, 34 is subdivided into three sections 13, 14, 15 by - two pairs of heat-insulated doors 16, 18, so that with reduced loads, a smaller storage space may be used. The frontmost doors 16 are mounted on double hinges 24 so that they can be swung either into section 13 where they lie in recesses 20 or into section 15 if section 13 is loaded. The rearmost doors 18 are mounted on single hinges 25 and swing into section 15 only where they lie in recesses 22. Recesses 22 have further recesses 31 to receive-the fastening means of doors 18. A ventilating opening 37 normally occluded by a heat-insulated cover 39 is provided in at least section 13. In modifications, the doors may be pivoted to the floor or roof.
