Abstract

<PICT:0770158/III/1> <PICT:0770158/III/2> In a pipe-cleaning machine the cleaned pipes are passed through a painting chamber 22 where they are coated with paint by a horseshoe-shaped spraying nozzle 62 supplied with paint supplied by a pump 64. Excess paint flows through a drain 65 either back to the pump 64 or to a reservoir according to the setting of a valve 66. Surplus paint on the pipes is removed by brushes 68.
