Class 28(2) The outlet pipe 4 of a sink strainer 1, 2, held by suction cups 6, makes a water tight connection at 12 with the water outlet of a sink, whereby the sink' can hold water in which e.g. potatoes are soaked and then peeled into the perforated container 2. The device can be pivoted on bent wires 7 up out of the way and the end 12 of the pipe 4 can be located against the wall of the sink or connected to the sink overflow by operating the end 16 of a lever 13 pivoted on pins 14 on the tube 4, the other end 15 of the lever abutting against the sink wall. The lever 13 is adjustable for length in a tubular sleeve 18. The device is attached to the back of the sink by suction cups, and is adjustable forward or back in slots 10 and clamped by a milled nut 8.
