Abstract

762,698. Fusible cut-outs. BRITISH INSULATED CALLENDER'S CABLES, Ltd. April 19, 1955 [April 20, 1954], No. 11404/54. Class 38(1). A cartridge fuse carrier 1 comprises a cover 2 and contact clips each of which consists of two parts, the free ends 14 of which receive a threaded spindle 15 provided with washers 18 and insulating or insulated nuts 16 so that the clips may be clamped on to fuse end caps 7. Nuts 16 extend into openings 19 in walls 3 and support the assembly in the carrier body, a projection 22 on the cover 2 co-operating with a collar 21 on the spindle 15 to prevent turning of the latter when the nuts 16 are rotated. Projections 23 prevent any appreciable longitudinal movement of the contact clips.
