[Also in Group XI] A device for the volatilization of insecticidal powders comprises a closed metal cylinder 4 containing a refractory member 5 and an electric heating element (not shown), the cylinder 4 being surrounded by a container 1 for the powder. A base fitting 2 contains an indicator lamp 8 and is provided with electric supply plugs 7. The powder is volatilized by infra-red rays from the heating element and member 5.
