Apparatus for mounting needles on carriers of textile machines e.g. combers, comprises a holder, in which the needles are embedded for a portion of their length with spacing and arrangement according to their subsequent use, formed of a mouldable material e.g. solder or a thermoplastic synthetic resin, which may be utilized as by heating or use of solvents as adhesive means whereby the holder may be mounted directly on the carrier or a carrier rod.
