[Also in Group XXVIII] The Provisional Specification describes apparatus for pumping liquid carbon dioxide which comprises a gear pump 8 to the outlet pipe 11 of which is attached a condenser 10 comprising a closed tube surrounded by a jacket through which coolant is circulated.
