Abstract

759,926. Razors. BESWICK, A. Feb. 1, 1955 [Nov. 9, 1953], No. 31006/53. Class 30. A safety razor head comprises a clamping member 11, which is a permanent magnet, and a rod 14 of non-magnetic material engaging the handle of the razor. The blade locating studs 15 may also be of non-magnetic material and the razor may be stored in a container for a moisture blunting inhibitor in liquid or tablet form as disclosed in Specification 294,274 [Glass 66]. The clamping member is preferably tapered towards the longer edges and has one magnetic pole adjacent the cutting edge or one of the cutting edges of the blade. Specification 368,399 also is referred to.
