[Also in Groups V and XXII] A filter for liquids comprises a number of superposed rings 4 connected together by rods 3, the external diameter of an upper ring being smaller than the internal diameter of the ring immediately therebelow. As shown, the filter is conical, but it may be hemispherical. The steps of the filter may be of equal or unequal length. The filter may be made of metal, plastic or ceramic material. Specification 579,562 is referred to.
