Abstract

A biologically active composition having as active ingredients a herbicide or plant growth substance, a fungicide, fungistat, germicide, bacteriostat, insecticide, or other biocide or a pest-repellant contains as a sticker an aqueous dispersion of plasticized polystyrene preferably in the form of a latex containing 40 to 50 per cent plasticizer e.g. dibutyl phthalate and chlorinated diphenyls. Specified active ingredients are pentachlorophenol, 2 : 4 dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and its derivatives, tetramethyl thiuram disulphide, benzene hexachloride, D.D.T., diphenyl sulphone, mercaptobenzthiazole.
