Abstract

757,126. Mop handles. PATTFRSON, G. A. Feb. 16, 1955 [March 29, 1954], No. 9166/54. Classes 19 and 61 A mop comprises a holder formed from a length of spring strip or rod bent to a generally elongated U-shape (Fig. 2), and upon which the tubular backing of a fringe mop is threaded, the free ends of the holder then being sprung together until the ends of the mop are in contact and inserted into a tubular member which holds them together. As shown the tubular member is of rubber and forms a handle, a rubber or leather washer 11 being interposed between the handle and the mop.
