[Also in Group V] A drum D for use in gas-meters or other machines having automatically-advancing indicia comprises a central web A made of plastic material of one colour, the periphery of the web being shaped as numerals or other indicia, and an outer web B made of plastic material of. another colour, the periphery of the outer web surrounding the numerals &c. This drum is made by moulding (see Group V), and operating dogs 13 and a locking member 14 are formed integrally with the outer web.
