754,316. ice-trays. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Oct. 28, 1954 [Oct. 28, 1953], No. 31189/54. Class 29. A grid for an ice-tray comprises undulating, e.g. zig-zag, partitions 9 ... 12 pivoted at 20, 21 at one end to an L-shaped member 19 hooking over the end flange 7 of the tray and pivoted at 28, 29 at the other end to a lever 27 having a lip 32 engaging over the end flange 8 of the tray. When the lever is pivoted, it first raises the grid to break the bond between the ice and the tray and then extends the partitions to free the ice blocks from them. The outer partitions 9, 12 have diagonal reinforcing ribs 42, 43. The lever may be removable from the grid.
