638,697. Trays or boxes: hollow-ware trays. ROBINSON & CO. (BOLTON), Ltd., B., and CHARLSON, E. Feb. 2, 1948, No. 2942. [Classes 18 and 66] Metal strips 6 extend across the bottom corners of a metal tray, for confectionery, and provide recesses 7 at the corners which are engaged by projections 8, positioned on the top corners of the tray, when one tray is stacked upon another. The ends of the strips 6 and projections 8 are welded to the sides of the tray which comprises a metal frame 1 having a beaded top edge 2 and a flange bottom edge 3, the edge 3 supporting lengths of wire or metal strips 5 which extend longitudinally and transversely to form the bottom of the tray.
