752,545. Burglar alarm systems. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON. Nov. 16, 1954 [Nov. 16, 1953], No. 33203/54. Class 118(1) A burglar alarm system having vibrator switches 7 and a control relay 4 is normally energized from an A.C. supply through a rectifier 2 and a switch having contacts 10, 11. If the A.C. supply should fail a line voltage relay 5 is actuated to cut in a, battery 12 by changing the switch from contact 10 to contact 11. The contact 11 however is made before 10 is broken, thus shunting the relay 4 through rectifier 2 during the time of release of relay 5 so that the action of relay 4 is so slowed down that its release is prevented. In Fig. 2 (not shown) a two wire alarm circuit is provided so that alarm may be given on short circuit. A resistance 6 inversely variable to the voltage applied accross it is provided to speed up the action of relay 5, and the relay 4 has a re-set button 9.
