In photogrammetric plotting apparatus comprising a beam 2 supporting a number of projectors 1 having their optical axes approximately vertical and projecting images on to a horizontal table, a projection surface 3 on the table forming the datum plane for the space model formed by the projected images, or the table itself, is adapted to be displaced horizontally at right angles to the supporting beam, i.e. along the Y-axis, as by means of a micrometer screw device or by hand. By this means an operator is enabled to position more accurately relatively to the optical space model a plotting screen 4 movable on the projection surface or the table and having a mark facilitating tracing.
