[Also in Group XXII] A terminal or " button " is provided upon the end of a wire cable 20A forming part of a cable-linked or travelling conveyer, by placing thereover a metal sleeve 20, chamfered at 20E, inserting into the cable and between the core 20C of the cable and its cover strands 20D a circular wedge 20B, forcing the wedge 20B and cable end into the chamfered sleeve 20 and then swaging the parts together.
