746,919. Moving buildings bodily. ETABLISSEMENTS CHRISTIANI & NIELSEN. March 8, 1954 [Sept. 23, 1953], No. 6623/54. Addition to 738,397. Class 20(2). [Also in Group XXX] The arrangement of the parent Specification is modified in that girders 5, 6, 7, 8 passing through and under the bearing walls 1, 2, 3 of a building to be transported are supported directly on three groups of hydraulically interconnected wheeled jacks 12a, b, c. Each group of jacks is fed by a common pump 14a, b, c, and due to the interconnecting pipes 13a, b, c, they provide a three point suspension for the girders. To increase the rigidity of the supported walls further hydraulic jacks, Fig. 3 (not shown) are secured to the ends of girders 5 and thrust horizontally on the ends of walls 2 iu the direction of the arrows X.
