Abstract
745,806. Vehicle bodies. DAIMLERBENZ AKT.-GES. Oct. 4, 1954 [Oct. 3, 1953], No. 28519/54. Class 108 (1). A vehicle body has two side portions extending over substantially the entire length of the car and each comprising shapes of regular geometrical cross-section disposed so as to intersect one another, one component being shallower and wider than the other and the latter being of greater depth. The greater depth component is preferably an ellipse 8 with its major axis vertical whilst the other component 7 is a circle or an ellipse having its major axis vertical or horizontal. The components may terminate in the same or different vertical planes.
