Abstract

<PICT:0741231/III/1> A soap stand comprises a rigid member having three or more feet on one face and on the opposite face a number of parallel teeth which can be secured to a tablet of soap thereby so that the stand remains attached to the soap whilst in use. The rigid member may be annular and of circular, elliptical or rectangular shape. Its upper surface may be convex, concave or flat. The stands may be made from nonrusting material such as stainles steel, lacquered steel, brass or plastics. In a suitable form, the stand comprises a rigid annular portion 10 with a flat upper surface 11 and rounded lower surface 12. Four teeth 13 and four rounded feet 14 are provided. The teeth, feet and annular portion 10 may be formed integrally by moulding from plastic material.
