Abstract

In moulding lamp shades, light advertisement signs, embossed articles and the like of resins which will harden at normal temperature and pressure, such as polyester resins, or ethoxylin resins, inlays comprising advertising illustrations, written matter, network, trellis work, grasses, insects and other items, distinguishable from the resins to be used, are introduced into the mould between gloss fleeces or fabrics; or prints, paintings &c. are applied to gloss fleeces or fabrics which are then placed in the mould and the resin filled in and allowed to harden. Filling, colouring, fluorescent or phosphorescent substances may be added to the self-hardening resins, e.g. by embedding the fluorescent and phosphorescent substances in the form of pearls.
