Abstract
739,554. Magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus. ATELIERS DE CONSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIQUES DE CHARLEROI. May 28, 1954 [May 28, 1953], No. 15818/54. Class 40 (2). In a magnetic record apparatus employing a sheet record mounted on a revolving cylinder, the magnetic heads 10, 11 are mounted in a casing 2 movable along a guide rod 4 and having a concave surface 2b engaging the cylinder 1 against which the casing 2 is pressed by a leaf spring 16 acting between the casing 2 and the guide rod 4. The magnetic heads 10, 11 are independently held against an opening 3 in a casing 2 by leaf springs 12, 13 respectively, the latter spring 13 being bifurcated to span the head 10.
