Abstract

739,207. Coat and like hangers. TWINCO, Ltd. July 2, 1954 [July 2, 1953], No. 18328/53. Class 52 (5). A multiple hanger for blouses or skirts comprises a suspending member, provided with collar: or protuberances, and detachable cross - members each provided with a gapped socket detachably engaging a collar. As shown, a suspending rod 1 has spaced, integral, waisted collars 3 and each cross-member 4 has a bored boss 6 which is gapped at 9 for lateral engagement with the rod, the upper part 7 of the bore sliding on the rod but not over a collar which seats in the lower part of the bore. To prevent unintentional removal of the cross-members, ribs 10 are formed on the walls of the gap 9 and the diameter of the part 11 of the rod is enlarged. The bosses of the cross-members nest for storage.
