739,135. Electromagnetic switches. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON. Oct. 16, 1953 [Oct. 18, 1952], No. 28624/53. Class 38 (5). [Also in Group XXXIX] A set of parallel coplanar contact springs 4 is lifted into contact with fixed contacts 7 by means of a lifting bar 3 which is moved under the pressure of a spring 3b into the path of the armature 8b of an operating magnet 8 either by falling into a slot in one of a plurality of cam discs 6 driven by the magnet 8 through a ratchet 5 (rotary step-by-step selector switch, Fig. 1) or as a result of the pulling down of a selecting bar 5b by a selecting magnet 15 (cross-bar switch, Fig. 2). In the cross-bar switch a flag 3f shows which set of contacts has been operated.
