[Also in Groups X and XXX] In a passenger transport system, (see Group XXX), in which coaches 10 are propelled along a track 7 by a rotary screw-threaded shaft, the coaches are provided with sliding doors 21 operated by bell cranks 22 pivoted by links 23 to a roller 24 spring-loaded downwards so as to serve as a follower to a cam track 25 provided at stations to automatically open the doors.
