738,457. Advertising, displaying, and storing apparatus, moving and changing. TRADBURKS, M. L. Sept. 20, 1954 [Sept. 25, 1953], No. 26485/53. Class 3 (1). [Also in Group XIV] Apparatus for dis playing edible pro ducts for sale has a rotatable tray on whicl the products are placed power means for rotat ing the tray, heating means and means for affording access to the products wher desired. The products are placed in compartments in the circular tray 5 and in a dish 7 which are rotated, through a detachable connection 13, by an electric motor 11. The dish 7 may be replaced by an advertising sign. The rotating tray 5 may be stopped by a switch 15 which stops the motor 11 and operates a brake on the motor spindle when access to the selected product is gained through an opening 17 in a transparent or partially transparent domed cover 16. The products are heated and illuminated by electric lamps 18, 20. A resistance heater and a thermostat may be used. A recess 23 may be used for storing the products as may a withdrawable compartment 25 which is slidable upon a partition 28 and is heated by electric lamps 30. A shelf 24 (see Fig. 2, not shown) may be used to support a weighing side. The apparatus stands on casters 2.
