In a conveyer for use in wrapping machines, bag forming and filling machines and machines for delivering weighed quantities of goods of the kind comprising a plurality of articlemoving attachments all arranged to travel in the same path in relation to a series of stations at .which operations are performed on the articles, the number of article-moving attachments is greater than the number of stations and the attachments, or groups of them, are driven individually. The conveyer shown in Fig. 2 comprises three die boxes E<SP>1</SP>, E<SP>2</SP> and E3, which are mounted to rotate independently of each other around a common centre 10, and two stations D<SP>1</SP>, D<SP>2</SP>. A box at station D<SP>1</SP> is filled with a plastic substance which is ejected at station D<SP>2</SP> into grippers 11 forming part of a conveyer. Each die box is moved intermittently by similar mechanism. The mechanism for the box E<SP>3</SP> only is shown in Fig. 2 and for all the boxes in Fig. 4. A pivoted link 22 connects a stud 23 on the die box to a runner 20 moving in a cam track 21. The runner 20 is mounted in a link 19 which is pivoted to one end of a lever 14. This lever carries a runner 16 which engages a cam track 17. The other end of the lever is pivoted at 18 to one arm of the threearmed member 15. This member is rotated continuously around the centre 10 at a constant rate of one third of the machine speed by gearing (not shown). The cam track 21 is shaped at the part 24 to form an arc of a circle of radius equal to the link 22. The die box does not move while the runner 20 is in this part of the track. The period of rest is extended by forming the part 25 of the track 17 in such a manner that the runner 20 is caused to linger in the part 24. A reciprocating plunger 45, Fig. 8, working in each die-box is moved to the left during filling of the box at station D<SP>1</SP> and to the right to discharge the shaped block at station D<SP>2</SP>. The plunger is reciprocated by a cam 46 mounted rotatably on the shaft 10 and having a track 48 to receive a runner 47 on the plunger. A lever 49 fixed to the cam is connected by a link 50 to an arm 51 which is pivoted at 52 and carries a follower 53 which coacts with a track (not shown) in a continuously rotating cam 54. The movement of the plunger is limited by an adjustable cam 55.
