733,531. Keyboard switches; hand-actuating devices for switches. BLAUPUNKT-WERKE GES. July 10, 1953 [July 12, 1952], No. 19279/53. Class 38 (5). [Also in Group XL (c)] In a radio or television receiver with pushbutton tuning, wave-range and station selector buttons are so arranged as to be operable together or separately. In one arrangement, the station selector buttons 16 are in front of, and overlap, the appropriate wave-range buttons 17, 18, so that the latter can be pressed in independently for manual tuning but are automatically operated when a station button is pressed. In one modification, Fig. 1 (not shown), depressable keys are used instead, while in another, Fig. 3 (not shown), the station buttons do not overlap the wave-range buttons but are provided with sliders which may be withdrawn from a recess in each button and then provide the desired interconnection.
