Abstract

733,124. Spray-producers. FOA, M. Aug. 12, 1953 [Aug. 12, 1952], No. 22227/53. Class 69 (3). [Also in Group XII] Liquid at the bottom of a casing 1 is drawn upwardly through an opening 14 into a rotary member 12, and is projected from the outlets of channels 15 and through apertures 17 in a cylindrical part 4, and through a number of concentric cylindrical perforated walls 22. Each wall may comprise wire mesh within a frame 21 removably and independently mounted on transverse supports 19. The member 12 is rotated by an electric motor 10 which also drives a fan 11 by means of which air is drawn into the device through an opening 27, and is passed downwardly between parts 4 and 8 and upwardly and outwardly between parts 8 and 1.
