[Also in Group XXXVII] The electromagnet 4 of a contactor is laminated and its'side plates 6 are secured to two bolts 10, passing through a support 1, by resilient rubber bushings 9. The armature (not shown) has similar side plates which are secured to a sleeve bearing 15 rotatable on a spindle 16 carried by the support 1.
