Class 94 (1). A stiffener for shirt collars comprises a strip of card or like material 10 tapering towards the ends and having a pair of tongues 15 with a gap 13 between their two inner edges and a pair of narrow tongues 17 near the lower edge of each'outer end of the strip. In use the tongues 15, 17 are bent away from the body of the strip at 14, 16 respectively so that the tongues 15, 17 lie under the shirt front and the remainder of the stiffener stands up around the neck-band.
