An aqueous preparation nebulizable to an aerosol for use in the liquefaction of respiratory secretions comprises by weight 0.125 per cent of oxyethylated tertiary octyl phenol-formaldehyde condensation product, 5 per cent of glycerol and 2 per cent of sodium bicarbonate.
