Abstract
The invention comprises acetyldigitoxin-a and the preparation thereof by heating acetyldigitoxin-b in an anhydrous or aqueous organic solvent in neutral, weakly acid or weakly alkaline solution. Examples disclose the use of methanol, ethanol and water, isopropyl alcohol and water, acetone and N/10 acetic acid, and aqueous pyridine as solvents.
